Thank you for some sane and well informed commentary amongst all the apparently wilful failure of many journalists to even do basic counting. In particular you acknowledge that Macron did understand what he was doing in calling the snap election, forcing the anti-fascist forces to stand together, and I think he needs to be applauded and celebrated for that decision.
I appreciate the kind comment! And I agree, there's an unwillingness to give credit where credit is due when it comes to Macron (and France on the whole, for that matter)
